As the small luxury ship sails from Bali, the hotspot for all mindfulness seekers and yoga enthusiasts, to Melbourne along the east coast of the fifth continent, the cruise invites guests to let their thoughts run free and focus on inner reflection. On board the EUROPA 2, the best cruise ship in the world according to Insight Guides Cruising & Cruise Ships 2024, there is a wide range of modern spiritual options offered, including meditations, sound baths, yoga, hypnosis workshops and individually tailored self-love programmes.
A transformative journey that brings body and mind into harmony
Both yoga enthusiasts and beginners can look forward to accompanying sound baths with crystal bowls, whose vibrations stimulate the theta waves in the brain and thus creating a deep state of relaxation. Using selected techniques guests learn to increase their energy and develop a holistic understanding of themselves.
ŌHIA – Berlin boutique drop-in meditation studio
The founders of ŌHIA, Elisa Gassner and Margarete Schellong, have experienced the positive effects of modern spiritual practices in their daily lives. They founded ŌHIA in 2020 out of a desire to enable others to do the same and to get in touch with themselves. Since then, their motto has been “Find Your Inner Peace”. They are sending two of their trainers for the IN2BALANCE cruise on board the EUROPA 2. The aim is for participants to find peace, clarity and optimise their energy system.
Sarah Jegelka, an expert in yoga and holistic coaching uses gentle touch, known as the healing touch, to release energetic blockages in order to create a state of deep relaxation. Her work aims to connect body, mind and soul. Aleksandra Kop, a renowned yoga and meditation teacher, has extensive experience in chakra balancing and mindfulness training. Elements of chakra teaching, which deals with energy centers, will also be taught.
For sporty and active guests
Those who also want to be active can take advantage of the daily fitness classes on board, some of which are also held outdoors. The fitness room includes state-of-the-art Technogym equipment in an approximately 210 m2 (2,260 ft2) space, as well as additional fitness courses. A personal trainer is also available for targeted training following a personal fitness check.
ŌHIA meets IN2BALANCE: The cruise combines Australian cities – including Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne – and offers the opportunity to snorkel at the edges of the Great Barrier Reef and witness the world of kangaroos and koalas up close. Under the guidance of experienced trainers, guests will also experience various relaxation techniques as part of the IN2BALANCE format in cooperation with the Berlin meditation studio ŌHIA. From November 14 to December 3, 2024 (19 days), bookable in the PLATINUM fare starting at € 12,790 per person, double occupancy, cruise only excluding travel package to/from the departure and the arrival points.
